I've been working in the property management business here in Breckenridge for over a decade now! I love helping guests create the vacation of their dreams. It's hard to go wrong anywhere you stay in Breckenridge. Depending on the season, you may wish to stay in different parts of the town. I am happy to help you navigate through these choices:

Winter:  Ski-In / Ski-Out may be preferable - but "sometimes" you will be a short bus ride to the mountain.  Also, the general rule of thumb is, the closer you get to the mountain the more expensive.  However, not all places "in town" or the historic district are bad options for skiing. The gondola has made many of those locations very desirable.  

Spring/Summer: The opposite happens in the off months when most people wish to stay in town - but Ski-In / Ski-Out places can afford a good value.
